Welcome to the 2008-2009 season of Telecare!   We are very excited about all that is happening in our television ministry and thank you for your prayerful support. 

Telecare is the television station of the Diocese of Rockville Centre.  We are proud to provide you with Catholic, informative, uplifting and spiritual television programming 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  I am glad to have the opportunity to let you know what is new and exciting in our new season.

I am happy that we will be providing a devotion dear to my heart, the Novena to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal.   As a young altar server I remember praying this prayer every Monday and asking for guidance from the Blessed Mother.  In addition, we will be airing the Papal Audience of our Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI each week so that you will be up to date with the latest good news from the Vatican.

We have acquired some excellent new programming as well, some from the Vatican, some from other Catholic resources to broaden our mission to preach the Good News through television.  Some of these programs are documentaries on the lives of the saints or the Holy Land, while others are shows designed to help you grow in knowledge and love of our faith and our Church.

Telecare depends on your support to continue our mission of preaching the Gospel through television.  Please consider helping us by either making a donation by mail or by a secure, online donation through our site, attend one of our fantastic events, pledge during our annual telethon, or even remember us in your will.  All of your donations, 100% go directly to assisting in this television ministry.
