Living Your Faith

Public Square

 Reason for Hope

The Order of Malta is a worldwide, lay, religious order of the Roman Catholic Church, which seeks to glorify God by promoting the sanctification of each member through his or her work with the sick and the poor and witness of the Catholic faith. Host Jane Hanson along with panelist from the Catholic University in Washington will use the book The Compendium-The Catechism of the Catholic Church along with highlighting the works of the Order of Malta to show what it truly means live the Catholic faith.

Molloy: Public Square allows our audience to engage in a lively forum with guests from Long Island's leaders and change agents discussing the global issues affecting our society today. With our host Molloy College President Drew Bogner, we look forward to bringing you this timely and enlightening program. Please join us in the Public Square.

In our busy lives are we stopping to talk with each other, especially our children?  The dinner table use to be the place for discussion, now do we find ourselves yelling up the stairs as we run out the door?  Fr. Frank discusses and reflects on current issues and talks with teens, parents and/or teachers and community leaders.  Join us as we meet dynamic teens along with insightful adults who give us a "Reason for HOPE."

Transforming Communities

St. Joseph's College has been transforming lives since 1916 - not only the lives of students, but the lives of those who reside within the local and global communities, too.  "Transforming Communities" is reflected in the school's mission, which revolves around five core values-integrity, spirituality, intellectual curiosity, social responsibility, and service.  Throughout the series we will see how they inspire every member of the St. Joseph's community to uphold these values, and reach out in positive, long-lasting ways to benefit the broader communities around us.
