TELECARE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

The Telecare internship program is unique in how it gives you real world experience covering all areas of television production. This provides a learning experience for the student and a tool for Telecare to identify high potential talent for future employment. We are located in Uniondale, New York and are looking for intelligent, capable and enthusiastic students to gain hands on experience in television production. Telecare is a state of the art facility owned by the Diocese of Rockville Centre, broadcasting our message to millions of homes through Long Island's Cablevision channel 29 and reaching 4.1 million in the tri-state area on WLNY channel 55.

Telecare currently operates two production studios, two remote units and both on and off-line post-production facilities. Telecare offers the distinct advantage in showing students all stages of show development and television production. Interns will work on one or all of the various programs that are produced and shot at Telecare. The following are the various skills and opportunities that can be experienced during your internship at Telecare:

Camera Operation * Show Development * Master Control * Field Production * Audio Production * Editing * Lighting * Administration

Telecare relies very heavily on its interns. The tools and experience you acquire during your internship will give you a distinct advantage over the fierce competition encountered upon graduation.
